Just Because I Love You

My friend Kendra called me one evening last week around 8pm and asked me what I was doing. I said "Nothing" because I was, at the time, doing just that; nothing. She said "Well good! I'm almost to your house and I have something for you!!". Baffled, I stammered out in my realization that I would be having an unexpected guest, "O-Ok? Where are you??" and said she wasn't far, just a few minutes.
When she arrived, I ran out to meet her in my driveway as she pulled up and instantly she made me close my eyes, as only Kendra would. I heard the opening of the back car door, a rustling of plastic and she then thrust a huge bouquet of a dozen red roses into my arms and said "I love you and because of that these are just because!!" It really made my night as it wasn't the best day =/ I love her more than just about anyone (aside from my boyfriend lulz) she really is my best friend
